The section editorships and the copyeditor post are being appointed ahead of Issue 1. This is a remote volunteer position, open worldwide to students, researchers, and professionals in the field.
Every post the journal is actively recruiting for is listed on the open positions page, with a closing date and a form of its own.
About the role
Editors oversee the editorial process for manuscripts in their field. They work with authors and reviewers to help maintain the journal’s academic standards.
Responsibilities
- Assess submitted manuscripts within your field.
- Coordinate the review process with reviewers.
- Communicate with authors regarding editorial decisions.
- Provide constructive feedback when needed.
- Help ensure quality and consistency throughout the publication process.
- Promote the call for papers and encourage submissions from undergraduate and graduate researchers.
Who we are looking for
- Undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant discipline.
- Postdocs, faculty, and working professionals in the field are equally welcome.
- Strong written English and attention to detail.
- Interest in academic publishing and research.
- Ability to communicate professionally and meet deadlines.
- Previous editing or research experience is a plus, but not required.
